WebCreta Technologies Pvt Ltd ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the B2B Pilot app (the "App") in connection with your Shopify-supported store.
1. Information We Collect
When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:
- Store Information: store domain, owner email, and basic shop details to identify your account and provide the service.
- Company & Customer Information: when your wholesale customers register for a B2B account, we process the business name, contact name, email, phone number, billing/ shipping address, and (where applicable) KYC/verification documents they submit through the App's registration and approval flow.
- Order & Pricing Information: orders, draft orders, custom price lists, quantity discounts, RFQ negotiation messages, and order/invoice documents generated through use of the App.
- Technical Information: usage data such as quick order sessions, saved carts, and reorder/wishlist activity, collected strictly to operate the App's ordering and reporting features.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To Provide the Service: to run wholesale customer registration and approval, tiered/custom pricing, quick ordering, RFQ negotiation, custom invoicing (Download Centre), and order history/reporting.
- To Communicate with You: to send app updates, billing notices, or respond to support inquiries, and to send transactional notifications (email/SMS/WhatsApp) tied to registrations, quotes, invoices, and price changes.
- To Improve the Service: to generate reports and analytics for the merchant about their own store's B2B activity.
We do not sell your data or your customers' data, and we do not use it for advertising purposes.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your data or your customers' data. We only share information in the following limited circumstances:
- With Shopify: to process billing (via the Shopify Billing API) and authenticate your session.
- Service Providers: we may use third-party services (e.g. SMTP/email delivery and SMS/WhatsApp messaging providers) strictly to facilitate notification features.
- Legal Compliance: we may share information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request, or to otherwise protect our rights.
4. Data Retention
While the App is installed, we retain your store's configuration and B2B data to provide the service. If you uninstall the App, we retain data only as long as Shopify's compliance timelines require, and we permanently delete all shop data upon receiving Shopify's shop/redact webhook (typically within 48 hours of the required retention window elapsing).
5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
If you are a European resident or a resident of California, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that it be corrected, updated, or deleted.
- Merchants: you can request data deletion by contacting us directly, or your data is deleted automatically when Shopify sends the
shop/redact webhook after uninstall. - Customers of Merchants: if you registered for a wholesale account or submitted data through a merchant's store, please contact that merchant directly to exercise your data rights — we process this data strictly as a data processor on the merchant's behalf, in line with Shopify's
customers/data_request and customers/redact webhooks.
6. Security
Data is transmitted over TLS/HTTPS and stored in access-controlled infrastructure. Access to merchant and customer data is limited to personnel and systems that require it to operate the App.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
